Two major “name” events for me in one week.  First, after displaying the patience of a zen monk for years and years, I was able to obtain my name in the .com version.  You never know when someone with your likeness is going to get lazy and forget to renew themselves with their local domain registar, so keep an eye out if you don’t have your own at the moment.

Second, Facebook started allowing “vanity names” for every one.  If you haven’t done so already, go to your Facebook account and claim your name.  I got “craigwilcox“, so that’s 2-for-2 for me this week on that.

Oh…and by the way, welcome to CraigWilcox.com, where I’m starting to market myself in addition to the others I work with.  I’m assuming that this site will be competing with Facebook for primacy in the vastly under-represented search query of “Craig Wilcox”.  Give it a shot yourself to see where I end up.  Either way, I guess I win!
